Students at Chase Terrace Technology College have enjoyed a successful set of A-Level results.
The number of A* and A grades achieved at the school hit new heights with 60 per cent of all learners achieving at least one of the top two grades.
Jessica Gittins, who gained A* in English Literature, Music Technology and Performing Arts, an A grade in General Studies and a B grade in Philosophy and Ethics, is now destined for Aberystwyth to study Theatre Studies.
Charlotte Dowson-Park heads off to study Criminology at Manchester, having gained A* grades in Business and Health and Social Care, an A in Psychology and a B in Sociology.
Meanwhile, Esme Hart also achieved great results, with A grades in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and General Studies, together with a B grade in Further Maths. She is now destined for Exeter, where she will study Mathematics.

Ashley Haney, Alex Hunter and Steven Sutton gained an A* grade in A level Maths, having taken the course a year early. They will complete their other A Level courses next year.
The school’s headteacher Dr Stuart Jones said: “I am delighted for the students and staff. In an increasingly competitive environment, I am especially pleased with the high number of top grades, which is considerably greater than ever before.”
