POLICE have arrested two people in connection with a burglary in Burntwood.
Officers were called to a shop on Bridge Cross Road at around 3.15am this morning (1st April).
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said:
“Officers quickly arrived at the scene and found two people inside. A baseball bat and a mask were also found on the floor.
“A 33-year-old man, from Wolverhampton, and a 32-year-old man, from Walsall, have been arrested on suspicion of burglary. They will be questioned in custody while our investigation continues.”
