PEOPLE are being invited to join a work party at a local open space.
The Pipe Green Trust is seeking volunteers to join them from 9.30am to 11.30am on Sunday (26th July).
A spokesperson said:
"Come along for as little or as long as you like and help remove some willowherb that has started to grow back again.
"It can easily be removed by pulling or can be cut as well. It is important these plants are controlled, otherwise they will dominate and crowd out smaller, less vigorous plants.
"Cutting tools will be provided, or feel free to bring along any of your own."
