Warning no trains are likely to run on the cross city line to and from Lichfield until this evening

Passengers are being warned that train services to and from Lichfield on the cross city line could continue to be cancelled into the evening.

The route has been shut due to overhead wire problems in Sutton Coldfield.

West Midlands Railway had originally hoped to have services running again by mid-afternoon, but has now revealed the evening rush hour is also likely to be affected.
