THE organisers of an event in Whittington say it will return to its roots this year.
The Whittington Countryside and Craft Fair will take place on 5th September.
Highlights include the Lamb National, falconry, sheep dog trials and heavy horses.
There will also be a performance from the award-winning Rock Choir.
A spokesperson said:
"Under new management, the show has returned to its roots by focusing on craft and countryside.
"Children also feature in the plans of the day with plenty of activities to keep them occupied.
"Hobby Maker are running workshops and crafting sessions throughout the day along with a whole host of craft stalls.
"There is also an expanded food court featuring tastes from around the world."
