Roadworks scheduled to take place in Whittington have been postponed.
Signs had gone up on Fisherwick Road warning of a closure on Monday (23rd January) and Tuesday.
But administrative issues meant an application for a permit by South Staffs Water for works to take place, did not reach the relevant highways teams at Staffordshire County Council.
The road will now closed on a future date to allow for the work to take place.
