A YOUNGSTER has ridden away with first place in a competition to design a new pump track.
The competition at the Burntwood Wakes was run by campaigners battling to get a facility built at Chasewater.
It was judged by Cllr Darren Ennis and Cllr Laura Ennis.
Among the winners was two-year-old Asher, who impressed with his colourful design.
The youngsters’ mum Caitlyn said:
“Asher put in so much effort into his painting so was delighted when he won.
“He is a keen rider and goes out on his bike every day – rain or shine.
“We really hope a track can be built at Chasewater so he can continue to improve his riding.”
