POLICE are appealing for information after reports of a van driver acting suspiciously in Lichfield.
Officers say the incident happened at around 4.35pm on 17th January and involved a small white van, possibly a Volkswagen or Peugeot model.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said:
“The van followed a car very closely for two miles from Trent Valley Island to Meadowbrook Road.
“The car driver pulled over on the Meadowbrook Road to try and lose the van, but it then stopped very closely behind them leaving the driver feeling very intimidated.
“When they then drove off the van began following them again before eventually disappearing out of view.”
Witnesses can contact police on 101, quoting incident 539 of 17th January.
