A bungalow in Burntwood could be knocked down and replaced by a new property if plans are approved.

Planning permission is being sought to demolish 45 Thorpe Street in Chase Terrace and replace it with a new dormer bungalow.

A statement supporting the application said the current property had been empty for some time.

“The existing bungalow has been vacant for several years due to some degree of subsidence and is now in a poor state of repair.

“The development proposes a dormer bungalow that will be generously proportioned and will provide a comfortable living environment within an established residential area.”
