A BURNTWOOD business has confirmed it is closing for good.
Mikey Teas, at Sankey's Corner, confirmed the news in a social media post.
A spokesperson said it had been "incredibly sad" to have to make the decision to shut.
They added:
"After a lot of thought and with very mixed emotions, we've made the difficult decision to cease trading and close the doors on Mikey Teas.
"It's incredibly sad to say goodbye to something that has been such a big part of our lives. There have been so many early mornings, long days, laughs, challenges, cups of tea and, most importantly, so many amazing people.
"While we're sad to be closing, we're also incredibly happy and grateful for the people we've met along the way. Customers who became familiar faces, people who became friends, and all the little conversations and moments that made Mikey Teas so much more than just a business.
"Thank you to every single person who has supported us."
