Businesses in Lichfield and Burntwood are being invited to take part in a free photoshoot to help boost trade across the region.

Lichfield District Council and Tamworth Borough Council have hired a professional photographer to capture the face of modern industry across the two areas.

To qualify for a free one-hour photography session, businesses should:

  • Be predominantly in the business to business sector (not retail or recruitment companies).
preferably be in the service, design, manufacturing or engineering sectors.
  • Be a unique company, doing something a bit different that doesn’t have a lot of social media or media coverage normally.
  • Pay business rates to Lichfield District Council or Tamworth Borough Council.

The images will then be used to promote the region and provided to the businesses to use in their own marketing.

Councillor Ian Pritchard, Cabinet member for economic growth, development and environment at Lichfield District Council, said: “This is a great opportunity for our businesses to get a series of stylish photographs taken of their premises for free.

“It will also help us to build up an image library featuring a range of businesses so that we can use them for future promotions, making sure we present businesses across Lichfield and Tamworth in the best possible light.”

Anyone interested in putting their business forward can call Matthew Fletcher on 01827 709382 or email Matthew-fletcher@tamworth.gov.uk by June 30.
