New Chasetown FC signing Jimmy Turner will be pushing for his first start when the Scholars entertain Nantwich Town.
The former Hednesford Town defender made his debut as a sub in Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Stocksbridge Park Steels.
And he will be hoping to have made enough of an impression to earn a starting berth against struggling Nantwich this evening (October 26).
Tonight’s visitors lie one place off the foot of the table, but were boosted by a 3-1 win over Whitby Town last time out. Meanwhile, Chasetown could return to third spot if results go their way this evening.
Kick-off at the Scholars Ground is at 7.45pm.
