A fund to support local projects in Lichfield has been boosted by a building firm.
McGoff Construction, which is working on The Spires care home, has made a donation to the We Love Lichfield fund.
Simon Price, Patron of We Love Lichfield – which distributes small grants to community projects – said: “It’s wonderful to hear that a firm from out of the area, who have got to know the district during the build project heard about our work thought they’d like to make a donation.”
The fund aims to give away £25,000 each year.
Sarah Sanderson, sales and marketing manager at McGoff Construction, said: “As with all of our construction projects across the UK we are committed to supporting local communities in any way we can.
“We Love Lichfield is an excellent initiative which is purely focused on supporting local community groups and organisations, helping to create a lasting legacy for the district.”
