THE founder of a South African education project has visited Whittington.
Sophie Warner, CEO of the Pebbles Project, was welcomed to the village as part of a long-running partnership between the area and the initiative based in the Western Cape area.
Whittington Primary School is also linked to the Pebbles Academy.
During her visit, Sophia met with local residents and school representatives to learn about initiatives and how they might be transferred back to South Africa.
There are also plans in the pipeline to increase contact between children from both schools.
