A ROAD in Whittington was closed at the weekend due to a tree falling down.
The Burton Road was shut to traffic in the early hours of Saturday morning (16th November) after the tree and hedge collapsed on to the carriageway.
Council highways crews and contractors were able to clear the obstruction and reopen the road before 10am.
