FAMILIES are being reminded that they can get a helping hand ahead of the new school term in September.
Lichfield City Council is hosting its annual Back to School Uniform Bank event from 2pm to 4pm on Friday (21st August).
The event will take place at the Lichfield Guildhall. As well as collecting items of uniform and stationery, families can also enjoy face painting and refreshments.
A spokesperson for the council said:
"We invite you to this free community event to help families get ready for the new school year.
"Come along with your bag for life and pick up some free school uniform items."
