A LOCAL heritage railway is warning visitors not to fall victim to scams.
Chasewater Railway has highlighted scammers conning people into purchasing fake tickets for its popular Santa Specials events.
A spokesperson said:
“We have been made away that counterfeit tickets have been sold for the Santa Specials. Unfortunately we are not able to honour these tickets, as we are sold out.
“If you have not booked though our ticket selling website FareHarbor then your tickets are not valid to travel on our Santa trains. Please contact your bank for a refund.”
