People in Burntwood will be able to keep across when local events are happening thanks to a new events calendar.
Burntwood Town Council is delivering them to 13,000 homes in the area.
Details of events such as the regular Producers’ Market and the Jubilee Wakes – which takes place on 4th June – are included.
Cllr Darren Ennis, deputy Llleader of Burntwood Town Council, said:
“As a council, we have been attending all the markets in our marquee and this has given us a platform not only to support the event itself, but also to give residents a chance to come and chat with us.
“One of the concerns raised with us was that people didn’t know it was happening.
“This initiative means by the end of next week, every home in Burntwood will have this leaflet and our community events calendar.
“We have listened and we have acted to make sure all residents get to enjoy our amazing markets.”

Cllr Sue Woodward, leader of the town council, said:
“Pin your leaflet to your noticeboard, stick on your fridge, add dates to your calendar or diary, and come along to enjoy our 2022 events.”
