A community in Lichfield will be raising a glass to the Queen after a housebuilder allowed land to be used for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Taylor Wimpey has agreed to allow the site to be used at Darwin Park for the bash on 5th une.
Organised by the Darwin Park Jubilee Party Group, the event will offer activities including a bouncy castle, garden games and a raffle.
There will also be an ice cream van and entertainment on offer.
Amanda Sims, chair of the group, said:
“We’re incredibly grateful to Taylor Wimpey for providing a space to hold our Jubilee celebrations.
“The location is perfect for bringing the local community together to mark this special occasion.”

“The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee is a historic milestone and a great opportunity for neighbours to celebrate together.
“Building communities is at the heart of what we do and we’re proud to have been able to support the Darwin Park Jubilee Party.”
