A LOCAL rugby club has received a funding boost that it hopes will make a real difference for young players.
Lichfield RUFC has been awarded £3,000 by Persimmon Homes West Midlands.
The funding will help the club purchase new training equipment.
Stuart Phillips, under 13 coach, said:
“We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Persimmon Homes for their generous donation.
“The contribution will help us develop our skills, teamwork and sportsmanship
“We’re grateful for this investment in our young players’ rugby journey and look forward to a successful season.”
Lee Perry, technical director at Persimmon Homes West Midlands, said:
