Organisers of events and festivals in Lichfield city centre are being invited to apply for a share of a £5,000 funding pot.
The money has been made available by the Lichfield Business Improvement District (BID) to help support local projects.
Morag Pringle, city centre manager for the BID, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for event organisers to get some additional funding, which is often hard to obtain.
“Our aim is to help make all of our events and festivals in the city the highest possible quality in order to maintain and build upon Lichfield’s reputation as a top destination.”
Organisers must demonstrate that the planned event will bring additional footfall into the city centre, financial benefit to the business community or raise the profile of Lichfield.
