The headteacher of Lichfield Cathedral School says she is “delighted” with the A-Level results achieved by its students.
The school achieved a 100% pass rate, with Craig Turner securing two A* grades and an A to study law at Durham University.
Other notable achievements include Alice Windsor, with two As and a B to study music at Birmingham University, and Charlotte Carver taking a place studying maths at Chester University after netting two As and a C.
Susan Hannam, Head Teacher, said: “Once again we are delighted with the achievements of all our students and there have been some exceptional results.
“We are thrilled to see our percentage of A* and A grades increase for the third year running. That 56% of all grades were A* to B is to be celebrated along with our continued 100% pass rate.”
Other high performers in the Sixth Form group at Lichfield Cathedral School included Erin Connelly, who will take up an apprenticeship in retail management with Marks and Spencer, and James Ekin and Griff Llewelyn-Cook who will read English at Exeter University.
