PEOPLE are being invited to open rehearsals for a Lichfield singing group.
The Inspire Choir is welcoming prospective new members on 1st and 8th September.
The group has enjoyed success since it was formed in 2020, twice reaching the finals of the Midlands Choir of the Year competition.
Musical director Benjamin Hamilton said:
"I'm incredibly proud of what Inspire achieved at the 2026 Midlands Choir of the Year competition. Reaching the final and coming so close to winning the audience prize for a second time was a wonderful reflection of everything this choir stands for.
"We work hard to make music to the highest standard we can, while always making our singing joyful, welcoming and something everyone can enjoy.
"That's what makes Inspire so special – we're ambitious musically, but we're equally ambitious about being a choir where people genuinely enjoy spending time together, support one another and continue to grow.
"I couldn't be prouder of what we're building together and hope others will want to join us."
The choir is currently recruiting tenors, basses and sopranos to join its ranks. While the alto section is currently full, people can register their interest and join the waiting list.
