Residents wanting advice on wills can find the answers to their questions at an event held by a Lichfield law firm.
Legal experts at Bradin Trubshaw & Kirwan Solicitors are opening their office doors to the public on March 24 to provide free advice and guidance on writing or changing a will.
Mark Reynolds, an Independent Financial Advisor will also be available for discussions on inheritance tax planning.

The Wills Surgery comes after the company noted a rise in queries over wills that were legally unenforceable and experienced an increase in clients wishing to contest or question the merit of a friend’s or relative’s Will.
Helen Bradin, Partner at Bradin Trubshaw & Kirwan Solicitors, said: “I cannot stress enough the importance of seeking legal advice when it comes to writing a will.
“There are a number of preconceptions around will writing which are outdated or inaccurate, so we want to help the people of Lichfield understand exactly what Will writing entails and at what point in their life they should make one.
“This Wills Surgery is the perfect opportunity to answer any questions and resolve any worries people may have. Making a will is not an exercise that should be taken lightly, as it is the only document that seeks to ensure your estate is left to the people you choose.”
Bradin Trubshaw & Kirwan Solicitors’ Wills Surgery is taking place on March 24 from 10am to 2pm at their Lichfield offices in Cathedral House, 5 Beacon Street, Lichfield WS13 7AA. Appointments are not necessary. For more information call 01543 421840 or email info@btksolicitors.com.
