A LICHFIELD school has praised the "strong outcomes" for students as they received A-Level, BTEC and Cambridge National results.
King Edward VI School said 50% of all grades were awarded at A* to B.
Among the highlights where in applied qualifications were 45% of students achieved a Distinction* result.
Headteacher Catharine Forster said:
"Results are the culmination of hard work from students alongside the support of parents and teachers.
"But these results are only part of the story – the students have been an incredible year group who have contributed to the school in many ways and been role models for our younger students.
"We look forward to hearing about their next steps when they return for presentation evening in the autumn term."
