A LICHFIELD travel business is backing efforts to build a new specialist respite centre for critically ill children and their families.
The Kids’ Village initiative has been chosen as a charity partner for the coming year by RB Collection.
The facility is being planned for a 30-acre site at Wychnor and will offer free week-long stays.
The link-up was confirmed at RB Collection’s 40th anniversary celebrations.
Nathan Collins, joint managing director of RB Collection, said:
“We are delighted to announce Kids’ Village as our charity of the year for 2025.
“This partnership is particularly meaningful to us as the project aligns perfectly with our core values around creating exceptional experiences for families.
“The development represents a wonderful opportunity to provide unique holiday experiences to those who need them most, which resonates deeply with our team.
“We look forward to supporting this vital work through our extended RB family of clients and contacts. We’re excited to be part of something that will make such a positive difference.”
Katrina Cooke, chief executive at Kids’ Village, said:
“It’s especially powerful to be supported by a company that understands the magic of holidays and the importance of time together with loved ones.
“We’re thrilled to welcome RB Collection to our group of corporate partners.”
