Burntwood U17s had the ideal preparation for their tour to Italy this week with a 48-0 league win away to Linley.
They adopted a simple game plan with the forwards controlling the ruck area and the backs making good use of the plentiful supply of possession. Both wingers, Pulius Kananvicius and Sam Wright, enjoyed a fruitful day with 3 tries apiece.
Ollie Aleksejuk and Adam Tuckey also took the direct route to the try line and the conversions came from Joe Blacker and Joshua Read.
The 46-strong tour party leave on Thursday (October 21) for fixtures against Mogliano and Benetton Treviso.
