THE role of water, nature and heritage will be in focus at an event in Lichfield this weekend.
Sandfields Pumping Station will host the family-friendly Flow and Grow day from 19am to 4pm on Sunday (17th May).
Organised by Lichfield Waterworks Trust, the event will be free to enter and include a plant stall, creative activities, history displays, indoor games, a pre-loved book sale, demonstrations and a pop-up lunch truck.
Katy Shore-Kapsis, the trust’s chair, said:
“We’re delighted to open Sandfields to the public for a day of discovery and enjoyment.
“Flow and Grow celebrates both our industrial heritage and the natural world that water continues to sustain.”
