The Lichfield Angel drink at Ego Restaurant will see £1 from each sale go to the cathedral.

The cocktail features gin, passion fruit and strawberry purees, vanilla gomme syrup, topped up with Prosecco and a sugar rim ‘halo’.

Colin Payne, general manager of Ego Restaurant in Lichfield, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be working as a fundraising partner alongside Lichfield Cathedral.

“We’ve already had a great response to the Lichfield Angel from our customers and would urge those who are yet to try it to visit us and help support the cathedral at the same time.”
