THREE people have been arrested following a protest in Shenstone.
Staffordshire Police were called to Lynn Lane shortly before 7am this morning (8th September).
A spokesperson for the force said:
"Officers worked to balance the rights of the protestors against the rights of those affected by it, which includes minimising the impact of disruption to local businesses, the community and the road network.Comments have been disabled on this article.
"A 70-year-old woman and a 49-year-old woman, both from the Liverpool area, have been arrested on suspicion of watch or beset a place of work to compel the abstention of a lawful act.
"A 66-year-old man, from the Wirral area, has been arrested on suspicion of the same offence."
