THE chair of Burntwood Town Council has praised the efforts of staff at a local care home.
Cllr Kathy Coe visited Chasewater Mews to meet staff and residents as they enjoyed an outdoor event featuring live music and food.
She said:
“The residents were encouraged to get up and dance to their favourite songs.
“There was information about lots of activities they have planned – it was really ncie to see that there is so much for residents to do.
“From speaking to the care staff and chefs, it was clear that they take a great deal of pride in their work and have great relationships with colleagues and the residents.
“Family members of residents also told me how settled their relatives were and how good the activities and staff teams are.”
