A LICHFIELD community organisation says it will work with another group in future.
Environmental group Transition Lichfield have confirmed they will be working to support Nurture Community CIC going forward.
A spokesperson said:
“After several years acting as Transition Lichfield, we are taking the opportunity to combine forces with Nurture Community CIC and bolster their impact going forward. This will mean less time on admin and more time on meaningful action.
“We have the same values and we can benefit from Nurture’s reach and project focus and they too can see benefit from our connections and areas of expertise.
“Nurture have a five-year plan for their activities and funding in place to support a lot of their work.
“We are looking forward to this new adventure helping Nurture Community CIC to maximise positive climate impact. We will keep the Transition name going for now but will reassess this a little further down the line.”
