ALMOST 4,000 bags of litter were collected by a voluntary group in Lichfield last year.
The figures were revealed by Lichfield Litter Legends.
A total of 3,962 bags of rubbish were cleared away from streets and green spaces in 2024.
A spokesperson said:
“Since the beginning of 2021, our litter legends have picked a grand total of 17,439 bags of litter in Lichfield – this equates to approximately 122 tonnes of rubbish.
