POLICE are warning people to be vigilant after reports of people selling without identification in Burntwood.

Officers said the pair had been trying to convince residents in the town to sell broadband.

However, they had failed to provide any identification to prove who they were selling for.

PCSO Rachael Orwin said:

“If you are not expecting anyone visiting your house then I would strongly advise that you do not answer the door.

“If you notice anyone suspicious knocking doors or hanging around then please call 101.”
