Homeowners in Burntwood are being warned to take extra care after a man tried to get into a property in broad daylight.
The incident happened on Collis Close at 3.30pm yesterday (27th April).
PCSO Leon Worden said:
“We received a report of a man opening a front door while the occupants were inside.
“The occupant had left the front door open as they were expecting a relative bringing some shopping.
“Please remember to keep your doors locked.”
