A CHANCE to learn life-saving skills will be on offer at a session in Whittington.
The village's WI group will host the event at the Village Hall at 7.30pm on 9th September.
A spokesperson said:
"We welcome people to a friendly and practical session on how ordinary bystanders can help save lives by learning simple resuscitation skills and gaining the confidence to act in an emergency.
"This session supports the WI campaign to increase public confidence in CPR and help more bystanders become life-savers.
"Everyone is very welcome to come along, whether you are completely new to CPR or simply want a refresher. There will be a small charge for refreshments.
"We hope to see everyone there – members or non-members – as actions could one day save someone’s life."
