THE next film to be shown at Burntwood Afternoon Cinema has been confirmed.
Mr Burton, starring Toby Jones, will be screened at Burntwood Memorial Hall at 2pm on 19th August.
A spokesperson said:
“This impressive film tells the true story of Richard Burton and his inspirational teacher Philip Henry Burton.
“Set against the backdrop of a 1940s industrial mining community in South Wales, it’s a tale of ambition, talent and the profound impact a single person can have on a young life.
“It’s a solid, well-told story that has been praised for its stellar performances and authentic atmosphere.”
