The Conservatives have held onto a Lichfield City Council seat after a by-election.
Angela Lax secured 187 votes, while Matthew Field secured 122 votes for Labour in the Stowe ward vote.
The seat had become vacant when David Dundas stepped down in protest at plans to sell off land for the next stage of the Lichfield Southern Bypass.
