Final plans are taking place for the official launch of the 2019 poppy appeal in Lichfield.
A ceremony will be held outside the Lichfield Guildhall at 11am on 26th October.
Civic leaders will attend the launch, with collection tins located across the district.
A spokesperson said: “We have been very grateful over the years for the generous support of the citizens of Lichfield, together with many businesses, schools and other organisations.
“We hope we can rely on that support this year as the needs of injured members of the armed forces and their families is ever increasing.”
