Villagers living around Lichfield will get the chance to discuss local issues with their MP at a series of surgeries.

Sessions in Shenstone, Elford and Stonnall are all planned following the summer recess of Parliament in the wake of a recent surgery in Clifton Campville.

“Village hall surgeries are great ways of getting around the constituency and speaking to people about local issues in an informal atmosphere,” he said. ” People can just drop in without an appointment, have a cup of tea and talk about anything they like.

“I often pick up really local issues which I can then take up with councillors on behalf of constituents. And very often, local councillors such as County Councillor Alan White and Lichfield District Councillor Sue Arnold come along too so almost every issue can be dealt with.”

More details about the sessions will be available on Mr Pincher’s website in the coming weeks.
