UKIP will not field a candidate in the 2017 General Election in Lichfield and Burntwood.
The deadline for nominations for the June 8 vote passed yesterday (May 11).
The Conservatives, Labour, the Liberal Democrats and the Green Party will now fight it out alone for the seat.
All four parties have opted to run with the same candidates as they did two years ago:
- Chris Worsey (Labour)
- Michael Fabricant (Cons)
- Paul Ray (Lib Dem)
- Robert Pass (Green)
UKIP came third in the 2015 General Election when John Rackham won 8,082 votes.
Full details of polling station locations have also been confirmed for the election.
