The Brownsfield Park side have completed the work on their new seated stand.

It marks the latest development for the club, who have already relocated their dugouts, installed hard-standing around the pitch, put up fencing around the ground and introduced floodlights to their ground.

And with plans to add new changing facilities during the summer, the club will be hoping to match their off the field achievements on the pitch under manager Paul Holt.

City have enjoyed a strong season since Holt moved into the hot-seat after a sluggish start under previous boss Russell Dodd.

They currently occupy 11th place in the Midland Combination Premier Division, but with their weekend game at Southam called off due to a water-logged pitch, Lichfield now have games in hand on many of the sides above them.

A win tonight (March 12) at home to fourth-placed Nuneaton Griff could catapult City into the top six.

Defender Jon Huckfield has taken to Twitter to call on supporters to lend the team their support as they aim to continue their climb up the table.
