CHASETOWN will make their way up the M6 to take on Runcorn Linnets in a midweek clash.
Jamie Hawkins’ side kicked off 2026 in victorious fashion when they beat Sporting
Khalsa at The Scholars Ground on New Year’s Day.
Now the Chasetown boss is hoping they can keep their good form going as they head into a busy January tomorrow evening (6th January).
He said:
“Each team needs to be respected and demands our full focus.
“If we’re at it and we’re at our best, then I firmly believe it can be a tough month for a lot of other teams as well.”
Both teams are currently equal on points towards the top of the table, but the Linnets experienced a New Year hangover when they shipped five goals against Witton Albion.
Kick off at the APEC Taxis Stadium is at 7.45pm tomorrow.
