WITTON Albion will be the next side hoping to halt Chasetown’s fine run of home form.
Jamie Hawkins’ side picked up a midweek cup win over Boldmere St Michaels and go into the fixture on the back of seven league games unbeaten at The Scholars Ground.
But the Chasetown manager is keen to see his side improve on their home draw against Trafford in their last Northern Premier League West outing.
He said:
“We know that Witton are a very good side so we will prepare how we will deal with their threats – and also look at ways in which we think we can hurt them.”
Both teams opened their season with a stalemate at Witton’s U-Lock It Stadium.
The visitors this afternoon (20th December) now reside in the bottom half of the league table after failing to win in their previous three games.
Kick-off is at 3pm.
