History will take centre stage at Lichfield Library over the next two months.
During September and October, a series of events will bring the past into focus.
There will be a chance to discover the unrecorded visits of Sherlock Holmes in Lichfield with a talk by local author Hugh Ashton, take a look at finds uncovered in Beacon Park, and learn about the skills of the dressmakers of Auschwitz with the History Wardrobe.
Other events include a tour of the Friary building with Jonathan Oates and a variety of exhibitions.
