Veterans have travelled to the National Memorial Arboretum to mark the anniversary of Operation Market Garden.
The World War Two operation was designed to capture strategic bridges in the Netherlands.
The 74th anniversary was marked at the Alrewas site by members of the Market Garden Commemorative Association and the Normandy Veterans’ Association.
