Lichfield City Sharks battled bravely in their cup semi-final clash against a Colron team who sit three divisions above them.
The Sharks were unlucky not to find themselves ahead as they dominated the first 15 minutes of the game.
But Colron forged a two goal lead and then scored a third as Sharks went all out attack in an attempt to claw back the deficit.
As Sharks continued to battle they scored an excellent goal as Rio Young rose the highest at the back post, to meet a pinpoint delivery from Liam Kelly, and power home an unstoppable header into the top left hand corner.
Time was no longer on the Sharks side though as Colron weathered the Lichfield assault for the remaining two minutes to reach the final.
