It’s back to the drawing board for Lichfield City FC after they crashed to a 4-0 defeat against Henley Forest FC.

Manager Dean Gilbert had called for his side to repeat the level of performance they showed in their previous fixture against West Midlands Police.

But he was to be disappointed as his charges were overwhelmed by the visitors.

John Rob Dutton was singled out as one member of the team who could hold his head high after the defeat.

However, the rest of the City side face a nervous wait to see if they will be included in Gilbert’s starting 11 for the Jack Mould Trophy clash at Feckenham on Saturday (October 17).
