A Chasetown school is throwing open its doors to help local residents get online.

Chasetown Specialist Sports College has opened a UK Online Learning Centre which will allow people to learn the basics of using the internet and email.

The two-hour sessions will take place on Fridays from noon at the school’s Community Room.

A spokesperson said:

“We currently have three students who use the online centre but we are trying to grow numbers.”

The computers were funded by the Burntwood Community Learning Partnership.

Anyone interested in attending can contact Mark Percox at Chasetown Specialist Sports College on 01543 685828.
