Barton United’s disappointing start to the campaign continued with a 3-0 loss against Northfield Town.
The result means Barton are rock bottom of the embryonic Midland Football League Division Three table after conceding seven goals in their opening two encounters.
They will be hoping a change of competition will boost their confidence next time out as they travel to Leamington Hibernian in the Les James Challenge Cup on Saturday (August 23).
